FORMAT
FOR
OUTLINES
1. When typing an outline, double space throughout.

2. Be consistent in form.  If it is to be a topic outline, use short phrases or words for each
part of the outline.  If it is to be a sentence outline, each part must be a complete
    sentence.

3. Capitalize the first word of each part and any proper nouns.

4. Remember that there must be at least two divisions at every level in an outline.  There
    must be a II with a I,  a B with an A, a 2 with a 1, etc.

5. Keep in mind that logic must be followed in a formal outline.  Each subdivision must
logically be a part of the topic it subdivides.
